(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Grand Mufti of Al-Qods, Sheik Mohammad Husain, judged two copies of the Holy Quran as containing errors for not respecting the original order of page numbers, forbidding their distribution.
According to “Al-Kawthar” website, grand Mufti of Al-Qods, Sheik Mohammad Hussain, issued a statement announcing further publication of the two copies of the Quran as unacceptable.
One of the two concerned versions was released by “Al- Iman” Publication located in Mansurah, a city in Egypt. Pages 64 to 95 of the Holy Book are missing in this copy.
In the other one, published by “Al-Sondos” also in Egypt, the order of some pages have been altered.
Calling for careful attention in printing and publishing of the Noble Quran, Sheik Mohammad Hussain urged libraries, publishing houses, and those having access to the above-mentioned copies to hand them over to legal centers affiliated to Al-Qods Mosque in order to be revised and modified as soon as possible.
